Who Are We:

SLAM in Airdrie came together to be one strong voice so all musicians in Airdrie can be heard. Working together will create a movement and build a foundation to support everyone.

 

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to unite the musicians in our community, to organize local events providing opportunities for everyone to perform and promote the talent in Airdrie.

 

SLAM in Airdrie Objectives:

- Hold musician open houses to share ideas
- Organize FLASH JAM Performances
- Host Battle of the Bands competitions
- Sponsor song writing competitions
- Plan musical equipment swap and sale events
- Promote member showcase events

SLAM in Airdrie Vision:

- Continue to initiated local music events
- Purchase instruments for local youth groups
- Organize an annual Music Festival
- Raise funds for a Performing Arts Centre
